Happy Holidays

While there is certainly a great deal about the holidays that I love, there is also a tremendous amount of stress. Right now, I don’t know many people who are not feeling pretty nervous about the shit storm that is raging across the globe. And yet…here comes OBAMA!!!! Where did this guy come from???? GOOD NIGHT! Dispeller of fear and Bringer of the light! Amen. So thankful. To bear witness to this moment, I just can’t wait for the inauguration! I think I feel as if these last few weeks since the big victory, I have felt a little post partum. Ok there I said it. I have felt a little blue. Down. Depressed. Low. Glum. Moody. Nervous. Bothered. Annoyed. Sixes and sevens. You felt the same way? I am ready to get started. I have waited for the starting place. I have waited for the new beginning to officially kick off. Let’s go. So excited.

Anyway, very happy to report that I am writing every day and the new record is finally taking shape. We will be posting more elements on the new site here over the winter holidays. Check back for videos of the new songs recorded right in the nursery! More soon.

A work in progress

Just in case you have stumbled across the newest version of tomlangford.com, make note of the fact that we have just gone live with it and are in the process of fleshing out several of the pages and links. Please check back regularly for updates. We want to make this a much more interactive site with many more “daily” updates and changes.

Fertilizer

Heading down to Whittier Fertilizer to go pick up the necessary amendments for the garden. According to Steve Solomon in “Gardening When It Counts,“ the key to a complete organic fertilizer (COF), is a combo of: seedmeal, dolomite lime, high phosphate guano, and a hit of gypsum. We have almost 5,000 sf we are preparing, so it’s a big job. Stand by for photos.

Thanksgiving

Well it’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone. The food, the family and the fun.

What do you think about this?
